SOCK-cessories is a team of three "moms". Our homes serve as our design studio, our kitchens and dens production central for our hand-sewn items, our own children, friends and family as our test market and models. SOCK-cessories was born while chauffeuring kids from one activity to the next. It started with an idea to turn a simple item we'd all washed a thousand times, a hockey sock, into something that was fashionable, functional and fun, all at the same time.

As our idea came to life, we found that the world of hockey socks and jerseys had certainly changed. With the advent of summer leagues, girl's hockey, women's hockey and "old-timers" leagues, there is an enormous and stunning array of colours, patterns and designs to accompany the traditional and professional team designs. That inspired us, excited us. Our creative juices worked overtime as we spent many late nights sketching, designing, cutting and sewing. After many experiments, many errors and much refinement our ideas turned into products and our products into a small Canadian company.

Today our line of items includes hats, mittens, scarves, our signature "Arena Bag", personal tote bags and a few other distinct items. Our products can be made distinctly personal by having us incorporate your child's (or your own!) gently used jersey into your favourite item or design along with your personal jersey number.
